Short Story

The Teddy Bear Mystery

“It was surely not a dream as the teddy bear was missing from her toy box,.” said Michael. “This is going in no direction, Michael, I guess we need to ask Reena all about it again,.” said Nancy.

Nancy and Michael are the detectives of the Enrise Apartments. Though they are only 13 years old, but still they had solved many small cases of their area. This is one such situation, where Reena thought that she had seen a dream, that her teddy bear is missing, but then she realized, that it was not a dream, as the teddy bear was missing from her toy box in reality. She then consulted Nancy and Michael.

Nancy and Michael heard it all  from Reena, and decided to check her house before inspecting anyone.

They both checked every nook and corner of the house and finally when no place was left to be checked, they came to the entrance of the house, where Reena’s dog Moti would stay in his dog house. They hesitantly checked the dog house, and surprisingly they found the teddy bear in the dog house. So it was actually Moti who had taken the teddy bear, from the toy box. Reena was very happy to get reunited with her teddy once again.

A childhood memory - Article

Clouds

When I was a little child, I thought that we could touch clouds, and play in them. So, I had the dream that one day I would surely play in the clouds and enjoy myself.

One day, this dream came true, when I was 5 and was given the chance to do ziplining.

We went to Dharamshala; it was very cold and misty there, almost all the time. The sun hardly shone and the clouds were always there in the sky. My mother, from the beginning, is very adventurous, and though she is caring, she still doesn’t let us be in our comfort zone. So, one day, when we went for site-seeing we saw there was ziplining going on, and my mother forced me to do it.

I was very terrified, as I had the fear of falling down, but it was not because I would get hurt, but was actually that I wouldn’t be able to meet my friends for many days in case of an injury.

But then, seeing the height of the zipline, I thought I could touch the clouds, and when I asked my mom if I could do so, she grabbed the opportunity and told me that I could do so.

With butterflies in my stomach and also the greed to fulfill my wish, I agreed.

It was a mind blowing experience. I was just feeling that I had touched the clouds, and I was enjoying myself too much. When I came down, I started crying, as I wanted to do it one more time. And guess what? I ended up touching the clouds 7 times!!!

Descriptive Writing - Smartphone

 Clicksi, the Phone!

My smartphone is my best friend. It’s my lifeline. Though I don’t have my own phone, I still feel really attached to my mother’s smartphone. Whenever I get a break from my online classes, I play games on my phone or I listen to music.

It is a Samsung phone, and is black in color. For protection there is a transparent shield on the screen. It also has a very nice camera. It clicks beautiful pictures, with amazing lighting effects and filters. It also has many useful apps, like Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, CamScanner etc.

Though, it is very harmful for our eyes, and damages them but still in the crisis time, smartphones have been very helpful to entertain ourselves.
