Super Powers!!

 

If I had super powers, then what it would be…..

I woke on a bright sunny morning and surprisingly found a note asking me to reach back side of the staffroom of my school at 11am. I didn’t show it to my parents as I was scared but decided to explore as it was a safe place being in school. As soon as I reached there, I saw an alien standing right in front of me. I was anxious and scared but was equally excited as I had an array of questions about aliens. The alien gave me an opportunity to ask for any super power and I thought that it would be a great chance to boost around in my friends. As we say, ‘Human greed can never be satisfied’, I too desired lot of powers and the list seemed endless. But then I choose a super power, that would enable me “to read anyone’s mind”.

I was super excited that this power would help escape my mom’s scolding, anticipate my teacher’s question, sense if my friend is going to back-bite me….and the list seemed unending. I also thought of using it to help my friends and sister in need.

This is just a dream…. and dreams too come true !!

A boon in disguise for me !!!

“Every cloud has a silver lining”

This phrase, according to me, correctly matches the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Covid-19 is a pandemic situation, which we all are facing, all over the world. This must be a curse for many people, but it’s actually a boon for me. This is because....

• Nature saves us, and we should save it too!!!

Due to this lockdown, we don’t see many cars, buses and trucks on the road; there is no emission from industries and all this is resulting in less pollution. Now, early in the morning, we can hear birds chirping melodiously, flowers blooming and the sun shining brightly. We are able to observe the beauty at its fullest, which we were unable to do in our normal routine life so far. 

• Family is the best possession one can have!!! 

In our normal lives, we are so busy and full of stress that we are unable to spend time with our families. But I think this is the time we can play with our family, chit-chat together and spend time with each other. Also, we can spend time with our grandparents as they teach us a lot of moral values. 

• Attitude and not our Aptitude determines our Altitude!!!

This is also the best time we can work on our interests, and improvise our personality. Also, we can work on our talent, and learn things at which we are not good. We can even work on our physical as well as mental health.

So we should actually be grateful to God, that we got this time.

Topic – The Hardest Challenge Brought the Best in Me

Someone has rightly said, "Lurching roads often lead to beautiful destinations."

 

The hardest challenge in my life so far was going for a night out from School, without my parents and that too, out of the city to Sariska in Rajasthan for a Space Astronomy club.

 

I was excited that I would be going with my friends for a night out but I was too apprehensive at the same time. I was nervous with the thought of managing everything on my own since it was first time for me. However, I was convinced by my parents and friends and I agreed to take the plunge.

 

Once we left the school premises, we were soaked in fun and learning for the next two days. I realized that I was quite confident during the trip and even I helped my best friend to manage her finances while we were having breakfast. I managed to get refund for her from the shopkeeper. I planned to get up early so as to be able to use common washroom, have break-fast, manage my luggage and report on time.

I was also comfortable though we were awake almost whole night as a part of class to watch stars and planets.

 

I am happy to share that this was the best decision of my life. I feel more confident and it was a great learning experience.

To summarize, it was my hardest challenge and I came out with flying colours.

Truly– “All roads lead to Rome"

The book “Cabin Fever” is an edition of Diary of A Wimpy Kid. As we see in all other books of Jeff Kinney, this book is also about the life of a young school boy, Greg Heffley. In this book, CABIN FEVER the author has described the winter vacations of Greg.  Where Greg is locked in home, due to heavy snow, and winter, and Greg is unable to enjoy his vacations. Also other than this, he faces a lot of problems during the vacations, as their school property is damaged and Greg and his best friend Rowley are the main suspect.

 

I would recommend this book to my fellow friends, as this is a very fun filled as well as very hilarious book. Also this book gives a strong message of true friendship.

 

I am sure many different questions would be arising in your minds, Like – Why were Greg and Rowley the main suspect of the damage of the school property? Did they ever come out of the situation of home stuck? And many more…………

The book “George’s Marvelous Medicine” is about a very poor family, of George, his parents and his very old grandmother. George’s grandmother wasvery strict and looks like a dragon [that’s what George says], and George wants his grandmother to die. So, one day George’s parents go out, and 

George gets the responsibility of giving medicines, to his grandmother on time. He didn’t like his grandma and so he starts making a very awful and unique medicine. There was a rule made my George, for making the medicine and that was – Anything he saw, which was runny, powdery, or gooey, would go into the medicine. The story is very fun filled and is about how George made the medicine, and what happens next…….

 

I would like to recommend this book to my fellow

 friends as this book is very interesting and 

hilarious. This book is about a small creation, of an

 inquisitive young boy. The story is very fun filled, 

and you won’t feel bored. It is a book full of 

mischieve, that the boy does while making the 

medicine.

 

I am sure, some questions must be arising in your 

minds, like – Was George successful in making the 

medicine? If the medicine was ready, then what 

happened with grandma after drinking the

The family struggles hard to make end meets, With the help of their kind neighbour, Mr. Laurence and his grandson Laurie. The sisters faced many hardships, they also found their love, and went into unusual relationships. Beth unfortunately faces severe illness, which almost bought, the end of her life.

This story is all about the difficulties, sorrows, misfortunes and happiness the family comes across, and faces them positively.

 

I would like to recommend this book to my fellow friends, as this book is about giving first priority to your family, and also that we always need to stay positive, and have faith in our parents and in god. Also, it teaches us how kind, helpful and compassionate should we be with others. It shows how love and hope are most faithful companions. It emphasises the beauty of simplicity and importance of small human deeds.

 

I am sure some questions are arising in your inquisitive minds, like - Did Beth stay alive or not? How after facing so many hardships, the sisters found their love, and went in relationship? To get answers of all these questions, read the book Little Women!!!

Once, God Aphrodite was sitting on a cloud and observing, what all was going on, when suddenly Elastigirl came, and they struct a conversation

Elastigirl = Hi Aphrodite !!! How r u ?

Aphrodite = Hi Elastigirl !!! I am not at all fine !

Elastigirl = Why ? What happened ?

Aphrodite = U know, v all gods decided that lets test everyone, that if such a situation arises that, everyone is at home and there are no servants, then what will happen ? But we never thought about the poor people, the economy and other problems. We all thought, that everyone is so dependent on servants, so lets check what will happen, if servants don't come. And see what's happening !!!

Elastigirl = Hmmm!!! Seems to be a serious problem!! 

Aphrodite= Elastigirl ! Tell me a solution !!

Elastigirl= [In Anger] Solution ! What solution ? You have put everyone into such a big obstacle, and now you are asking a solution from me ! Nonsense !!!  

Aphrodite = Elastigirl ! U r right, its my fault, but the solution is not fighting, we need to work together, to fight against this. 

Elastigirl = [In anger] So what do u mean ? I should go and protect everyone ? Are u serious ? 

Aphrodite = Elastigirl ! Calm down ! See, we need to take out a solution, we can't do all this !! 

Elastigirl = [Calms down, and says] Yes! U r right! So let's do one thing, we both will become invisible, and then go and help the doctors to prepare medicines.  

Aphrodite = Yes,You are right !! We will do this tomorrow for sure !! Bye !!! 

Elastigirl = Bye !!!
